This vegan shaman drum is constructed of natural beechwood for durability, with an eagle pattern printed on polyester / vegan leather.  The back of the drum is made of laser cut triple plywood with a tree of life print (it is not made of rope cords).  Comes with a solid wood mallet with synthetic fake fur end.  At 10" in diameter, this drum is easily handheld.  Easy and fun to play, sound can be louder or quieter depending on how hard the drum is hit, a perfect gift!
