Original Koshi chimes, handmade in France, the elegant, sleek and minimalistic design of this wind chime coordinates beautifully with contemporary home decoration.  Eight chords are welded with silver into the metal plate at the base of the bamboo resonance tube.  The precise tuning creates a play of clear tones that is rich in harmonics, with shorter chords gradually dominating and become fundamentals, forming a circular tone range.  The natural bamboo cylinder measures 6.3cm in diameter, and 16.2cm length.  It's compact, yet effective in producing delightfully harmonious sounds.

Either move the chime gently holding it by its cord: the crystalline relaxing sound is a delight.  Or, when suspended, it will play with the wind and carry you away in a spontaneous melody.  These chimes can be used outdoors, but should be hung underneath an overhang to keep them dry and need regular treatment with a protective oil (such as teak oil).
